Majority in our area are natives, others new to our state and beautiful community, who for the most part, value our more rural way of life. Unfortunately, we have had to come together quickly to UNITE in every effort to stop a proposed cell tower site steps from our homes. This Residential zoned property at 2557 N. SKY VIEW LANE, EAGLE, ID otherwise listed as SKYVIEW CORPORATION is owned by The Taylor family. Several of us had relationships with this family, and were shocked to learn in May that they had discretely signed a lease in early December with Powder River Development of Eagle/partnered with Horizon Tower, LLC of California. All potential land owners in the area that were propositioned for the tower turned it down, simply out of neighborly respect, concern in property value decreases, and/or potential health risks. We are desperately asking for support from our fellow Citizens, City of Eagle and Ada County government/agencies, to deny the placement of this commercial tower on residential zoned land surrounded by homes. We are asking this tower be relocated, and that the acquisition companies exhaust all efforts to find and construct a tower at a safe, non-intrusive distance from homes ON COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY. These Commercial cell towers DO NOT BELONG in thriving RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS.
